Nothing’s Perfect

Living with my family, sometimes happily

They have my back, when I lack, what life requires of me

Daily routines, I get tired, I see what I can be

I’m staying focused, on my purpose

Doing my best, to living humbly

Nothing’s perfect, but it’s worth it

No other place I’d rather be

And when I stumble Jesus lifts me

A life with Christ is where I want to be

The reality of pain, the actuality of love

Keeping me grounded, no longer bounded

My heart sometimes break, thinking of my mistakes

Overcoming my mind, twisting me up inside

My burdens are a lie, to them I’ll say Goodbye

Nothing’s perfect, but it’s worth it

No other place I’d rather be

And when I stumble Jesus lifts me

A life with Christ is where I want to be

I get caught up, sometimes lost

In what life, throws at me

I step back, to lookup

Opening my eyes, so I can see

I’ll focus on today, for tomorrow I’ll just pray

Peace on my mind, I put it all behind

Nothing’s perfect, but it’s worth it

No other place I’d rather be

And when I stumble Jesus lifts me

A life with Christ is where I want to be
