God Speaks Day 20

Spending time with God in jail.

November 29th, 2018

Matthew 11:29- Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Jeremiah 5:6- Therefore a lion from the forest will attack them, a wolf from the desert will ravage them, a leopard will lie in wait near their towns to tear to pieces any who venture out, for their rebellion is great and their backslidings many.

Proverbs 11:29- Whoever brings ruin on their family will inherit only wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise.

My Thoughts:

Being like Jesus should be a goal everyone should have. Why wouldn't we? He is such an amazing person, his heart is pure, so of course, trusting in Him and following Him is the only way. When you act on your own and do your own thing your acts can destroy you and your life. When you don't care for your household and walk away, you will purposely destroy it. Someone who doesn't know what is right or wrong can be easily influenced in a negative way. God, I just want you and I want to follow you. I trust in you with everything I have. I know everything is going to be ok.
