God Speaks Day 21

Spending time with God in jail.

November 30th, 2018

Proverbs 11:30- The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who is wise saves lives.

Hosea 6:1‭-‬3- “Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence. Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.”

Job 34:2‭-‬4- “Hear my words, you wise men; listen to me, you men of learning. For the ear tests words as the tongue tastes food. Let us discern for ourselves what is right; let us learn together what is good.

My Thoughts:

We will spend eternity with God, we will have a beautiful place to go and be with him. We need to make our life decisions based off of Jesus and the way he lived and taught us. God has our backs, he will save us from harm and sorrow and pain and everything that is not good. He will save us, walk beside us, as we grow and become stronger. He is so much more than all of this, we can get through anything with him. We need to know what is right or wrong, we have the spirit of God in us and he will lead us down a path to the safest of places with him. We are okay.
