God Speaks Day 16
God Speaks Day 16
Spending time with God in jail.
November 25th, 2018
1 Corinthians 11:25- In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
Hebrews 3:12-14- See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.
Proverbs 11:25- A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
My Thoughts:
Jesus died for our sins. He sacrificed his life for us so that we may spend eternity with him. We are to always remember what he has done for us. We need to watch out for letting the things and our environment influence us, because we can very easily be led astray for some strange reason we might think we are doing right but if our actions don't line up with the word of God we are setting ourselves up for failure and we become lost. We need to strengthen ourselves in the word of God and only speak wisdom to those around us not letting what they might say offend us. You can't win every battle and that's okay because Jesus is in control and if it is meant to be it is meant to be. Sometimes the best thing we can do for people is pray.
