God Speaks Day 15
God Speaks Day 15
Spending time with God in jail.
November 24th, 2018
Matthew 11:24- But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”
Jeremiah 5:1-3- “Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem, look around and consider, search through her squares. If you can find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth, I will forgive this city. Although they say, ‘As surely as the Lord lives,’ still they are swearing falsely.” Lord, do not your eyes look for truth? You struck them, but they felt no pain; you crushed them, but they refused correction. They made their faces harder than stone and refused to repent.
Proverbs 11:24- One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.
My Thoughts:
This really goes back to me learning to accept the people around me, even if I may not agree with the way they act. Maybe that’s all it is, an act like they don't know how to be who they really want to be, or who God made them to be. Something I can say about myself is I always try and see the good in everyone. Some may call me naive but I say my heart is just big and full of love and compassion. I imagine it as a big pink fluffy pillow so comfortable, cozy and warm, a place for security where I leave all my precious moments and expel them out of my body as an Aura of love. God I'm just going to keep being what you really made me to be, who I'm learning to be through you now.
