God Speaks Day 14

Spending time with God in jail.

Proverbs 11:23- The desire of the righteous ends only in good, but the hope of the wicked only in wrath.

Jeremiah 5:7‭-‬9- “Why should I forgive you? Your children have forsaken me and sworn by gods that are not gods. I supplied all their needs, yet they committed adultery and thronged to the houses of prostitutes. They are well-fed, lusty stallions, each neighing for another man’s wife. Should I not punish them for this?” declares the Lord. “Should I not avenge myself on such a nation as this?

Jeremiah 11:23- Not even a remnant will be left to them, because I will bring disaster on the people of Anathoth in the year of their punishment.”

My Thoughts:

This is totally speaking about today's time. So many people live as if you don't matter. So many people go on living like your word doesn't mean anything, it hurts my heart to look around and see people who don't care. Maybe they just don't understand? Or maybe they just don't comprehend what they are doing wrong? Or do they and just don't care? I know they are lost because I was one of them. I'm still trying to figure it out day by day, that's all I can do. But I can relate to this anyway and what I really need to do is just speak my story and learn to be better by applying what I learned so that I can inspire others. When people see I'm trying to be better it will help them see they can too. You can't change everyone, any one person in general but you can change who you are!
