The Fall

In the beginning where there was no shame

There was no grief or guilt no one to blame

When God hung the Stars

Bringing light to the sky

Covering the Earth

With an abundance of life

Adam and Eve they weren't afraid

They went about their day

Singing and dancing

Not feeling ashamed

The temptation was great

And the stakes were so high

Instead of looking at the snake

They should have looked at the sky

Their eyes were open so big and wide

All they wanted to do was go and hide

How God is so great

He loved them, no hate

He came looking for them

As they were covered in sin

He would give them a chance

Still they would face consequence

But God had a plan 

Before he created man

To come to the earth 

Through a human birth

He would wash away

The mistakes from that day

Giving us a chance

To be free at last

God loves us so much

He gives us choice

To believe in his Son

A new life rejoice
