Questions: A Psalm
What if I told you I was lost?
What if I told you I was broken?
What if I told you all the things I did,
When I was smokin?
When I was tripping,
When I was high,
When I lived my life with only lies?
Would you still see me the same?
Would you believe what I would say?
Would you know I was redeemed?
Would you see me as set free?
Why would you die for me ?
What if I screwed up my purpose?
Why would you fight for me?
When I know I'm not worth it!
Why would you cry for me?
Would I leave you wordless?
You would tell me you love me,
Not caring of my past.
You would tell I'm worthy,
Even though I'm last.
You would lift me up high,
Away from all my shame.
You would rebuke all the lies,
And take away my pain.
I no longer suffer,
With these questions in my mind.
The what, when, would, why's,
That clouded up my sight.y
I see the horizon beyond my time,
When I imagine you in the sky.
I'll raise my hands in reverence to you,
All the days of my life.
