God Speaks Day 30

Spending time with God in jail.

Proverbs 12:9- Better to be a nobody and yet have a servant than pretend to be somebody and have no food.

Isaiah 24:1‭-‬3- See, the Lord is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants— it will be the same for priest as for people, for the master as for his servant, for the mistress as for her servant, for seller as for buyer, for borrower as for lender, for debtor as for creditor. The earth will be completely laid waste and totally plundered. The Lord has spoken this word.

Jeremiah 12:9- Has not my inheritance become to me like a speckled bird of prey that other birds of prey surround and attack? Go and gather all the wild beasts; bring them to devour.

My Thoughts:

If we are not careful we can get caught up in the way people live, act, and just are. We need to stay strong in our faith and relationship with God. We cannot bow down to the ways of the world. We must stay strong in the word which protects us and gives us words of wisdom that can help us and others as well. The Lord will be coming back soon and it doesn't matter what you think you are, what you have, what you think people think about you, all that matters is who you are in Christ and the way you have shown Christ through your actions, your words and your life. It's better to be a humble person than to be someone stuck up in their ways expecting people to do everything for them or thinking they are better. We need to be people who care. We need to love. We need to see that it's not all about us that sometimes it's good to ask for help or to help the person next to you. We need to work together, grow together, love each other and be supportive to one another. Thank you, God, so much for putting this on my heart and helping me to get through this because I feel enlightened. I feel like I can understand just a little bit more. I feel closer to you. I feel stronger in my relationship with you. Maybe I'm not where I want to be but I'm a step closer, which is awesome. Love always -WM
