Driving on a new road…

This is me talking to the holy spirit this morning preparing to take my driving test, so that I can get my license back.

HS: Who’s your Creator?

ME: God

HS: Who went before you?

Me: Jesus

HS: So, walk in confidence. Because the one who created you has your back, and the one that went before you is making a way!

I passed by the way. Thanks to my dear friend Joanna for being by my side.

The special coincidence about that is, she was the first person I met when I started “The Academy” program in jail. She walked with me then & she walked with me today when I passed my drivers test.

This day is monumental in my life because it closes one chapter & opens up a new chapter. Now that I have my drivers license back, I can work towards getting a car & I can work towards helping others.

This 8 year journey has provided beautiful growth, but I have also been limited on how I can move. The fire I have in me to help my community has been at a stand still, until now that is.

God is so amazing, how he teaches us patience, growth, & shows us the potential we all carry. I look forward to seeing where me & Jesus drive on this new road together!
