God Speaks Day 6

Spending time with God in jail.

November 15th, 2018

Job 11:15- then, free of fault, you will lift up your face; you will stand firm and without fear.

Psalms 140:1‭-‬9- Rescue me, Lord, from evildoers; protect me from the violent, who devise evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day. They make their tongues as sharp as a serpent’s; the poison of vipers is on their lips. Keep me safe, Lord, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from the violent, who devise ways to trip my feet. The arrogant have hidden a snare for me; they have spread out the cords of their net and have set traps for me along my path. I say to the Lord, “You are my God.” Hear, Lord, my cry for mercy. Sovereign Lord, my strong deliverer, you shield my head in the day of battle. Do not grant the wicked their desires, Lord; do not let their plans succeed. Those who surround me proudly rear their heads; may the mischief of their lips engulf them.

My Thoughts:

God I see you in all you are doing. You always come through for us especially when we give all and trust in you. You're so amazing in all you do. I may go through hardship but it doesn't last forever. You are there to guide me and lead me in the right direction even if you have to hold my hand or even drag me. You are there always have been and always will be. When everyone goes away you are still there, you keep me strong willing and ready to go through fire if need be, but with you a shield of protection will hide me from the flames making all the trouble come to pass with a lesson learned, a story to inspire, and a message to tell with a light shining all over it so that people's eyes will be open to you, the truth!
