God Speaks Day 25
God Speaks Day 25
Spending time with God in jail.
December 4th, 2018
Jeremiah 12:4- How long will the land lie parched and the grass in every field be withered? Because those who live in it are wicked, the animals and birds have perished. Moreover, the people are saying, “He will not see what happens to us.”
Hebrews 13:3- Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.
1 Thessalonians 2:12- encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.
Proverbs 12:4- A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.
My Thoughts:
God, I know your plan for my life is more than it is right now. I know you see my end because you created my beginning and I trust you with everything. I know I'm going to be okay because no matter what you have my back. You're going to take care of me. I will never forget my time here in prison. God, are you telling me to prepare to leave? Am I going home tomorrow? Why is it so hard for me to just say yes this is happening? Am I scared? I know it will all be just fine in your timing. Everything works itself out. I feel that everything I do in my life is preparing me. So what I experienced today can prepare me for tomorrow. I will continue to live and try and be better every day. I know it won't be perfect, I know I may stumble, but everything will work out in the end. I will no longer bring shame to my husband and children. I want them to be proud. Thank you, Lord!
