God Speaks Day 12

Spending time with God in jail.

November 21st, 2018

John 11:21- “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died.

Ecclesiastes 5:1‭-‬7- Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong. Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few. A dream comes when there are many cares, and many words mark the speech of a fool. When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it. Do not let your mouth lead you into sin. And do not protest to the temple messenger, “My vow was a mistake.” Why should God be angry at what you say and destroy the work of your hands? Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore fear God.

My Thoughts:

God I hear you. I need to stop doubting your greatness. My problem is I'm worried, I deserve whatever I get for the years I may spend in here. I feel that if I do get anything like that then maybe I just deserve it. I know you have big plans and I know I'm in here, but I would like to be with my family at home and not in these prison walls. I pray that your plan includes my freedom soon, but I will accept whatever you want or whatever is done because nothing is done without reason and even if I don't like it at the moment it will help your kingdom and good things will come of it. I pray that the spirit comes over me and I can get this anxious feeling away. I Love You Lord, watch over my family which I know you are. I thank you for all you do.
