1. Hug Jesus

Sometimes I sit here and wonder what Heaven will be like.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not wanting to die soon, because I still have sooooo many things I want to accomplish. But I dream of it, because of the peace it will bring. The most important thing I think of is hugging Jesus. Of course, I want to see my loved ones again, but I pray Jesus is there waiting for me in a beautiful field of flowers, so that I can run to him and hug his neck!

In my mind when the enemy tries to convince me that I could die of some crazy google disease or say “what if this kills you” or “what if this does that”, then I immediately say “As long I get to hug Jesus”  because if I do then I know I will be ok.

This is a “I’m not scared” statement, this a “I fear no evil” statement, because the enemy can’t use what he can’t control and if we state that we obviously trust the creator to be in control of everything including life and death, then what does the enemy really have to play on?

Is this a morbid way of thinking? I’m sure I’m not the only Christian ok with passing on, as long as we see Jesus!?! And I’m not trying to be harsh, but this is real. Death is apart of life and I have to say its the one thing Christians in the end are excited about.

If you ever hear a Christian saying I’m preparing for Jesus to come back, I mean what do you think they are referring to? Its not an ugly statement, its a “I’m ready for my King wherever He is ready” statement. Is this too much? I don’t know, I didn’t ever say my blog would be cookie cutter. It’s going to speak real thoughts & open up real questions about what we are all wondering.

With that being said, I’m happy where ever God needs me. I will do what I need to do here until he calls me home. This life will go fast so in the meantime I’m just trying to learn my lessons, grow from them, and help as many people around me as I can. But I would be lying if I didn’t say that I’m not constantly dreaming of the the day that I get to hug my Jesus, I’m mean it’s literally the top of my bucket list!
